We’re a family-run eco retreat near the Cornish coast and Bude, offering a cozy stay in four charming Mongolian yurts. Nestled in the picturesque countryside, each yurt is thoughtfully decorated and insulated for comfort. Accommodation

4 cozy yurts, each with a double bed, double sofa bed, indoor wood stove and outdoor fire pit and grill. Each yurt is ideal for 2 adults or a small family or 4 adults in a pinch. Views across the Cornish countryside and sea in the distance on our small eco-friendly organic property with sheep, ducks, chickens, geese, bees and plenty of wildlife. Get ready to get mud on your wellies! Keep an eye out for the barn, kestrels, and vultures hunting around the yurts. We are 3 miles from Widemouth Bay, with a variety of other surf beaches nearby. The small coastal town of Bude is 5 miles away. This is a unique space and not a hotel, so read all the details for a vacation with a difference!

Guest access

Ideal for large families, groups of friends or 4 couples. Guests can use the eco-friendly composting accessories. Drinking water, washing area and hot outdoor shower near the yurts. Guests can bring a camping stove or cook on the barbecues and campfire. There is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy.

We ask guests to bring their own sleeping bags or bedding and towels as this helps reduce our costs and environmental impact; There’s no need to wash your bedding after just one night, you can take it home and use it again! If you are not arriving by car we can arrange bedding for a charge of £10 per yurt.

Other notable aspects

There is a walk from the parking area to the yurt (around 100m). We offer wheelbarrows to transport your things! This is a working farm with hazards such as machinery, animals, ponds, and uneven terrain. Children will have to be supervised at all times.

Only well-behaved dogs. Dogs must be kept on leads due to rare wildlife and free-range livestock.

Stag and hen parties, please contact us to discuss booking. We can organize alternative stag and hen parties if they are quiet and respectful, there is no nightlife nearby. If you’re looking for nightclubs, head to Newquay!
